After becoming a father to two daughters, like most I found myself wading through a sea of big box store apparel mass-produced overseas. Everything was the same and hardly anything was durable enough to be worthy of a hand-me-down. Why is it so hard to find a super comfy, durable t-shirt with a unique, substantive design? So, I started printing my own t-shirts and found that Isla, my eldest, consistently picked my designs over store-bought ones at bath time. I force Aster to wear my designs, but to be fair she is still far too young to express an opinion. Just like that, Starland was born. Our mission is straightforward: to responsibly craft clothing that not only fits comfortably but also nurtures a child’s natural optimism and curiosity.
